Adopt an Olive Tree

The initiative 'Adopt an Olive Tree' is meant to deepen the interest for extra virgin olive oil of high quality, providing in-depth information on production, tasting and how to use the oil produced. 

For the lovers of extra virgin olive oil is offered the chance to adopt a plant among the olive groves of the Poggio and receive at home the oil that the tree has produced. The virtual farmer will thus have the ability to constantly monitor the life and work of the tree and to be always informed about its health and activities. During the year, the adopter receives information about the life cycle of the plant, its treatment and processing (flowering, pruning, tillage, the ripening of olives ...).

All through the duration of the relationship, you can visit your olive tree, participate in picking its olives, attend all stages of crushing with the opportunity to enjoy the same hospitality in the farmhouse.

Each plant is accompanied by an illustration that includes a photograph and a sheet. Once adopted, the plant is marked with a wooden plate with the name of the adopter.

'Adopt an olive tree' can also be an original gift for a friend who loves nature and the typical products of quality!

PROPOSALS FOR ADOPTION


Option A
Allows the adoption of an olive tree, with the payment of € 65.00, in return you will have:
- N. 6 bottles of 0.50 liters of extra virgin olive oil OR N. 1 can of 5 liters of extra virgin olive oil
- A wooden plaque to be placed on your adopted olive tree.
- Photo of the plant and certificate of adoption

Option B
Allows the adoption of an olive tree with the payment of € 200.00 in exchange for:
- N. 6 bottles of 0.50 liters of extra virgin olive oil OR N. 1 can of 5 liters of extra virgin olive oil
- Accommodation B .B. for two nights for two people in our Relais Poggio degli Olivi in October-December (harvest / milling)
- A wooden plaque to be placed on your adopted olive
- Photo taken of the plant and certificate of adoption.
